Journal Log #12

We arrive at Skull Island in the Bermuda Triangle without incident. Crook, a 300 year old 7' tall pirate leads us to Black Billy.

Black Billy is a large black man who is wearing an authentic "red coat" from the British red coats who fought in the American Revolution. The coat is adorned with many metals of honor. He is also wearing the gun Black Beard the pirate lost at sea. Black Billy tells us that we have to perform a task for him before he will agree to help us on our mission.

Black Billy's Task: make him a complete breakfast from ingredients gathered from five magic islands. He gives us an undead talking parrot who can lead us to each magical island and who will tell us what we have to do on each island.

Five Magical Islands:

1. Carina steals a giant egg from a T-Rex while Caesar does an excellent job at distracting the dinosaur.
2. The island is full of trees with sweet fruit growing on their branches. On the ground are flesh eating sheep guarded by a Cyclops shepherd who will get angry if he catches us stealing the fruit. Maryfin distracts the Cyclops with rum while Jacob and Storm fly above the sheep and steal the fruit for fruit juice.
3. Through the use of an extremely strong will, Caesar walks past the two crowds on the island without getting pulled into either crowd. He gets the honey from the beehive in the middle of the island. One crowd is full of people in white, laughing. The other crowd were people in black, crying.
4. We had to get a live pig from a bowl shaped island with a wooly mammoth asleep in the exact middle of the island. If pig blood touches the muddy ground or the mammoth hears something other then pig sounds, it will wake up. Carina used her influence over animals to coax a pig onto the boat where Caesar slaughters it for bacon.
5. This last island was nothing but a giant cow. Carina calms the cow by talking in its ear while Jacob and Storm fly and milk the udders. Sam holds the bucket on the ground for the milk to fall into.

On the boat ride back to Skull Island, Caesar feels the need to teach me how to fish in the ocean. While fishing, some how Storm convinces me to change my clothes and put on a different shirt. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and Caesar was pleased by the shirt, but I never change my clothes and I am at a loss on how to explain my behavior.

Jacob cooks the complete breakfast for Black Billy. Black Billy is satisfied with our work and agrees to help us. We take an hour on the Skull Island to get ready for our trip to the house of Augwe. During this hour, Caesar bets the town's people that he can mortally wound himself and the wound will not have any affect on him. He, of course, wins the bet by using his super natural abilities to heal the wound he inflicts upon himself.

We are attacked by zombie pirates and I become wounded in the fight. Caesar becomes angry and kills the zombie that hurt me, and then goes into a rage on the rest of the zombies. After the fight, Caesar is nice enough to help me clean and dress the wound.

We eventually get to the part of the ocean where we have to go underwater to get to Augwe's house. The boat sails into a whirl pool created by Black Billy holding his machete in the air. An air bubble is created around the ship to protect us as we sail down toward a large trench.
